Grey abu 6500 vs Green 6500

How are you lads,does anyone know if the abu 6500c3 ct mag(in grey)is the same reel as the green abu 6500,im very close to buying it on that basis and i dont want to find out it runs quicker after ive bought it.Any information would be great

are you sure its a 6500 ct mag in grey and its not an abu rocket your talking about...? because if its a rocket it doesnt have any mags ......you might be right in saying there is a mag that comes in grey i wasnt aware of 1

Ye im pretty sure, i rang a tackle shop looking for the green mag and he said he had the grey one which was the same just a newer version so i just wanted to make sure,i tried the web but that doesent realy have anything about it.Thanks anyway

that would be th gun metal mag elite with the v spool and 6 pin break block system and mag breaking, they run about the same but the new grey one has more break block so can be set up to run slower

Thanks for that mc, i got it there today its gunmetal grey alrite but im not sure if its the elite it just says 6500c3 ct mag on the box but hopfully its the same and more to the point hopfully i can use it!

no worries, have fun, use all 6 blocks and full mags until your confident enough to reduce the breaking
