ive used them and the gulp ragworm in kerry, i fished them on a running ledger and a 4 oz plain lead and i was casting them out and retyrieving them steadily across the bottom around deep rock marks and had a few pollock

I was thinking of trying them "weedless" on a worm hook and twitching them through shallow rock marks for sea trout and possibly bass. Anybody done it with any success?

Tried this a few times with the Gulp crab last year, but no result. I have my doubts about using them as a static bottom bait, think they probably need the bit of movement.
