people: me and peter k

tide: low and rising

time:5pm-11pm

bait: lug,mackrel,sandeel,mussel

rigs:2 hook + 3 hook flappers+ single hook clip+pulley

fish caught:big whiting,rockling,weever,scorpian,flounder,dab,codling
Nice calm evening filled with different species including a fill of big whiting,countless rockling and two codling with a single dab and flounder also thrown into the mix.

Well done lads, Fair play on the whiting there pretty thin on the ground this year :shock: , especialy good sized ones, any Idea what sort of length the whiting were?

ye sod some of them were toching 30cm a pop with a few smaller ones also taken

tanks lucky were headin out along the wicklow beaches with yer nephew stef in the next week or 2 hopefully land some more species to add to this years list

Anglers put bait on hooks to catch fish.

Nice 8) good to see some decent ones about, a 30 cm plus shore caught whiting is a fine fish these days.

my apologies sea serpant,i was only havin a laugh.as ive been told off ,i think it would be more in keeping with this site for me to say.......fairplay greatcatch welldone finefish super session your the man and a great big slap on the back for you. :)

well done lads. i fished there last night and all i got was lots of small 5 beards and a tiny dab
species 2010 whiting, codling, coalfish, flounder, short spined sea scorpion, , pouting,
3 bearded rockling, 5bearded rockling, dab, bass, LSD, thornback ray, shanny, turbot, corkwing wrasse, ballan wrasse,pollack, plaice, silver eel, smoothound, weaver, tope, bullhuss, launce,shore rockling, conger
