what rig is working best for you ?

best smoothy rig at the moment for me is a four foot up and over rig with a size 5/0 aberdeen what you usin :?:

3/0 pulley rig 2 ft snood length but with the 2 ft of rig body snood can be up to 4 ft in length.Apart from conger and tope never used a hook bigger than 3\0 from the shore.

fair play to all of you lads trying to give up :wink:
eric your over the worst i found the first 2 weeks to be a battle when i was smoking 25-30 rotthmans a day but that was 13 years ago and i have not smokes since :lol: :lol:

Well done lads. the money you will save is unreal. Eric the first month is the worst. I gave them up over 5 years ago and there are days when I could light one up but the urge passes within a couple of minutes. good luck

regards to favourite rig, I dont get the chance to fish for smoothies but generally its 3 hook flappers and pennel pulleys

i use 3 hook flappers and pennel pulleys
depending on the area i normally make them to suit the fishing
i like making my own and trying new things dont be afraid you will never know
