CANCELLED SAI SAC boat MA, Courtown, Sep 13th.
Next boat comp lads is on September 13th from Courtown, Wexford with Mick Redmond. 2 sessions on the day, 1 at anchor, 1 on the drift. Not sure as to what to expect fishing wise as i havent fished from there before. If anyone has any info, can they please add it .

i might be up for this, depending on cost? and wether anyone can offer me a lift?
fishing will be for animals pete, no reefs or anything like that in the area, species in the area include dogs, ray, huss, hounds, tope, gurnard, dabs and whiting.

Mick and I had been trying to contact each other all day. It turns out that the Puffin is unable to get out of Courtown Harbour until the County Council remove a sandbank that has developed out past the harbour entrance

that sandbank's not looking good! maybe a couple of correctly placed breakwaters would be better than dredging, longterm deffo would, even for shore anglers.jd wrote:Mick and I had been trying to contact each other all day.
