Shore Tope Wexford 14/06/09

#1 Post by donal murphy »

People: Me & Karl

Duration:Sat & Sun

Tide: High Tide

Weather: Sunny & Calm

Bait: Mack

Rigs: 8/0 wire pulley rig

Results: 1 Tope

Report:

SAT : no runs only a couple of dogs.
a few lads beside us caught a good few smooth hounds

SUN : Caught the fish early sunday morning an hour before high tide. Quick photo and then released it much to the disgust of three eastern europeans who were fishing further down who asked me if they could keep it! since i was putting it back. they already had a dogfish and a bass that weighed 1/2lb at best
but cracking day my first tope from the shore after 3 years of trying!
Happy Days
