HI , anybody any so-so spots in the holywood / carrick radius out of belfast that are producing anything ??need somewhere sortof easy to walk over as had a minor knee op, ta

Portmuck is easy to fish from the harbour, always get loads of small fish there, doggies, whiting, pouting, pollack coalies etc night time and dusk always get us fish there

alternatively red bay up waterfoot is easy to fish (you could fish from the car) although its always bunged with campervans full of people when the weather is good

there is a wee mark around beside the bangor (Brompton Road) . it does produce mackerel and coalies when they are about. Its might be a bit dodgy on your knees because the ground is quite uneven of the path
