davy being vertically challenged seems to be a requirement for a successful mullet angler.fishingmidget must be shorter than you if that is possible.

Report:having blanked comp day before at ferry point while anglers left and right of me bagged up i decided to head out monday to put crabs out of misery three casts into session hit into my first fish of the night a lovely little coalie about 1lb next cast came the classic cod bite landed my 1st codling of the night 1.5lb next 2 casts produced 2 more codling of around same size and this is where it gets interesting last cast turned into 3 casts with same bait as my fingers had stopped working in cold and snow was coming down heavy out of the blue the rod tip headed for the floor and kept going grabbed rod and couldnt believe the pull on it panic followed by more panic and what felt like hours later a huge white mouth broke the water in front of me panic terror and excitent all at same time got fish out of water after another huge struggle a cod that was weighing 12.5lb on my scales got it weighed in fish shop following morn 11.5 lb didnt feel the cold after that but didnt catch anything else so packed up headed home walking on air :lol: :lol: :lol: best feeling in the world


Great fish. Fair play to yea.
