People me and a friend
Duration 7.30am to 10.40am
Tide dropping
Weather great
Bait mackerel/squid
Rigs one hook pulley
Results 7 thorn backs
Report meet up with a friend of mine at fahan beach this morning to have a go at the thornie's, on our first cast we were in to them, i landed one over 3lb he landed one over 4lb, he went on to get another three of them, all between 3 and 5lb. then i landed a MONSTER!! ........1/2lb thornie and to be fair it gave me the best bites of the day, just before we packed up i landed another one over the 4lb mark. it was a short session but we were well pleased with the results, sorry lads no pic's left the Carma on the kitchen table ...... first time i fished this beach and was not annoyed with dogs trying to steal the bait, we never even seen a dog.
