Sheeplands. Co.Down. 12/6/08

People: Me

Duration: 3 Hours

Tide: HW @ 8.00pm

Weather: Overcast

Rigs: Mackerel Feathers & Sandeels

Results: 11 mack, 3 pollock

Report:

Headed down after work to give a go at the mackeral and try and spin for pollock. Got to the mark about 7pm and fished for a couple of hours with the top of the tide being the most productive. All the mackerel and pollock where small enough. 3 casts resulted in 11 mackerel with nothing either side of it. great sport on braid and lighter gear.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
