New bass rod?

I'm looking for a new beachcaster / bass rod. something light. thinking of the Grey's BZE but dont know if i should be using a 2-4oz or 3-5oz. general bottom fishing, clean ground. budget around €150-€200. any ideas or recommendations?

PM rockhopper and see what he can do for you on a Zziplex Powertex Bass, got one off him at the beginning of the year, lovely rod.

AA surf 3-5 oz is nice rod for light beach casting and surf fishing. Its very light and nicely balanced. A small swing is all thats needed to load it.

I had a lighter rod 2-4oz rod but if you turn up and there weed to be dealt with or a strong onshore wind where a heavier lead it wasnt up to it. The AA will deal with all those conditions but is still fun

I have a Greys BZE 3-5oz lovely rod nice and light used it today and was holding it nearly all day. I would normally use it with a 3oz weight.

See if you can stretch to a Zziplex Powertex Bass 12'8". The best rod I have ever owned. Even use mine on mixed ground with 150g - no problem. Match it with a 6500 or 525 and watch it go!!!

2 to 4oz bze is a great rod. if you fish one rod and keep it in your hand then this is the one. not so good in a gale.
