Sheeplands Harbour Area, Co. Down

People: Me and the Bro's

Duration: 3 Hours

Tide: Flooding

Weather: Wet & windy

Bait: Lug, rag, sandeel, mackerel

Rigs: 2 hook clipped, pulley rig

Results: 3 codling (about 2-3lb), 1 Pollock, 2 coalfish

Report:

All fish returned.
Weather and swell where a bit crazy. Bit of a silly a idea to fish this spot with a south wind but the bait was dug so i stayed on for a while. I haven't reported many fishing expeditions in a while so its good to get back out again. It was a struggle to so the least but we got a nice couple of fish for our efforts. Its good not to blank on my return debut
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC
