Has anyone had any luck fishing for blue shark this year??
We have being out twice this year so far and on the 1st day (3 weeks ago) we had 1 take but it spat the hook as it ran and on the 2nd day we drifted for 5 hours with zero interest! we were between 6-8kn off Dungarvan

Plenty about mate. Put at least 80m of depth below the boat. Good strong rubby and you should fair OK.

Perfect! After the lack of action we were unsure of whether it was too early. Hoping to head out again but looking at the weather the wind is supposed to pick up again Sat
