Has anybody heard of a mark in Dalkey called the sheeps cove i was talking to the tackle dealer in capal st and he told me that 4 10ilb plus bass have been taken there by lads fishing for conger in the past week?

Did the tackle dealer get you to buy lots of expensive gear to hunt such magnificant fish. I bet you would need a specific Bass rod, a good reel (no cheap thing with single bearings or a dodgy clutch), lots of leads and rigs and even some frozen bait (only thawed once when the elecly went down).
Mind you sheeps cove, havn't seen that many sheep in Dublin recently.
