Tide:3/4 full and dropping on arrival and 3/4full on dep
Weather:sunny with moderate on shore force 3-4
Bait:lug/frozen peeler/squid for tiping
Rigs:3 hook flappers size 2 hooks 6 ounce grippers
Results:1 bass 8lb ish 10 coalies most 1lb one 2lb one2.5lb
Catch and Release:: Yes/No
Report:got to the beach which i have never fished before spotted a gully where the breakers seemed less severe and set up gear the rods tips didnt show a bite for an hour so i cast one to 100 yards and one to 50 after 30 seconds the one at 50 took a few small taps then nearly pulled over the tripod .After two good runs and and 1 earial display and a lot of paniced drag adjustment the bass came through the surf .Things went quiet for a few hours till the tide was 1/2 way up 3pm ish when the coalies arrived for the last hour or so .All in all a good days sport without a drop of rain
