Report:
First session of 2007.....
Was hoping to repeat my 2006 PB with another good sized bass today.
Arrived in Clonea to see some good surf and a nice enough breeze.
However the water was very cloudy and with the ever stiffening breeze it was hard to tell the bites.
Had quite a few knocks/nibbles from what I believe to be coalies but only when the tide had turned ( seems to be the norm for clonea) . Managed to land one coalie about a foot long.
Struggled on through the torrential downpour but to no avail.
Place was absolutley jammed with people today - all walking either kids, dogs or horses
At least the blank was saved by the coalie - could not have beared to start 2007 with a blank :? :? :?
Will try again later in the week - hopefully the water will have cleared and the people will have cleared off...

John.
