anyone having any luck on fly in the cork area at this time of year ? does anyone know if it's still worthwhile braving the elements, or have Bass and Pollack disappeared until spring/summer ?

bass on the fly with the right methods on most of the south coast at the moment - if only in the short weather windows.

thanks guys, i didn't manage to catch any Bass after late October last year but started to catch a few about 3 weeks ago again. (Fly fishing only.)
So I guess that Nov to Feb appear to be lean months for Bass on fly, of course weather doesn't help as the water is clouded most of the time.

Jim, I'm in Rochestown which is a suburb of the city. I'll definetely be up for some Bass fishing this weekend. Let me know your plans.
