Report:
it was very windy and wet for a while but worth it , my friend told me fishing was a picnic for old men and didnt understand how it was a sport. well, he coud not hack one bit a gave up after 20 minutes. turning up in jeans and a rain coat wasnt his greatest idea i hope he gives me more respect now. he did manage to bag a one pound collie, his first ever fish.
as i watched him walk to the dart my rod was bouncing away in the wind and knowing if i caught anything was down to pot luck as i coudnt tell if there where any bites. all the other fish were caught at about 30 yards and after 4 hours of good fishing i packed up cause i was fed up with the wind spraying sand in my eyes.

Good stuff Gazo. What end of the beach were you fishing, I hope to get down there later in the week if I can get off early enough to get bait.
