Killala

#1 Post by kieran »

Hi Paul

The only beach worth fishing there is a small U shaped one near a car park, but you can walk up to it from Killala - stay clear of the channel the currents are ferocious. Crab bait picks up flounders and the odd bass... so I am told!
Kieran Hanrahan

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Paul

thanks
