Report:i had 16 pouting 2 poor cod and a codling all on lug and rag fished close to the breakwater inside the harbour 3 of the pouting where 30cms long and went to 1.5lb which is a crackin pout for the harbour the codling was around the 1lb mark...Mark had 4 pouting 2 poor cod 2 coalies a codling and a gobey which all fell to lug and rag...another good nites fishin

Jonny where you fishing below the castle walls...if yes what type of grund to you find here and what distance where ya finding the fish?

no i was fishin inside the harbour towards the breakwater up at the watch tower...but the ground behind the castle is very rough but does throw up some good fish ie: cod, conger,pollock, wrasse and gaint 3 beard rockling
