Weather:flat calm

Bait:rag & squid

Rigs:float

Results:14 Pollock 3 mackerel


Report:all the Pollock on rag macks on squid.largest Pollock 2lb ish getting plenty of bites on rag.lots of sprats/sand eels just under the surface.great to get the first mackerel of season. great night to be out.

yes ,had one for dinner to day and froze the others for bait.

I've yet to catch a mack this year - I'd like to get some in my freezer for bait too.

They are a very tasty fish too - nice on BBQ
