Tides and conditions were looking great for this evening so I decided to head out for a few casts, bringing the left over peelers I had collected on Sunday. Got to my mark and cast out a big peeler bait and stuck the rod on the tripod, then I waded out into the surf with the lure rod and started casting my surf seeker in all directions looking for the fish. Doing this for a while and I look over at the bait rod and it's doubled over so ran back and lifted into a nice fish, at first I thought I lost the fish as there was no fight in it at all but nope a lovely bass emerged from the waves
