Are you allowed to LRF down the side of the old Coal Pier or is it restricted nowdays?

……….so, was down there yesterday morning around 5am, tide in…….first drop a small pollock, hand sized, on a plastic worm section. About an hour or so, up and down the pier, both sides, not a sniff. Two seals watching me intently.
Apparently the East pier under the structure is better? Might give it a bash. Arm hanging off me from mackerel fishing a few times……..they’re not in yet.
