After being stuck in Dublin for too long, I will finally be heading out for a family holiday in Loop Head, Clare. I will be there in late June and hoping to have a few sessions fishing.
I prefer spinning for pollock, but will be happy with some beach or pier fishing if the weather/seas make rock marks too dangerous.
I've looked at the shore mark map, but its a little old at this point. I will definitely try bridges of ross (weather permitting), but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for other marks on the peninsula I should try, and any advice on baits/lures.

Carrigaholt is right beside you and I've found it to be a nice, sheltered and productive mark.
Kilkee cliffs are nearby, I found it too popular and made an absolute kip by those who frequent it.
Rhinevilla is on the way to Carrigaholt, although I haven't tried it.
Be careful at Ross.
