Portrane Beach 14.03.2021

When: 14/03/2021
Where: Portrane Beach
Who: Myself and Ken
Duration: 10:00-13:00
High Water: 12:16
Equipment: 13ft bass rod with 3 hook flapper with B940 size 4 hooks.
My Bait: Ragworm tipped with Squid
Kens Bait: Tiny slithers of frozen mackerel
Conditions: Cold, windy and overcast.
My Result: 2 flounders
Kens Result: 65cm Sea Trout

Myself and Ken went for a Sunday morning session on Portrane beach, within 30 minutes Ken was onto a 65cm sea trout, caught on size 2 hooks with little slithers of mackerel. I caught 2 small flounders myself. All fish returned!

interesting set up with the tiles/steel on the legs of the chair - oh yea, nice trout by the way!
