Hook head rock mark part 2

#1 Post by Sharky Shark »

So after yesterday’s misfortune of losing half a rod, I managed to buy a new one and visit the same mark today.
Had a 4/5lb pollack up on the rocks, but it spat out the hook as the next swell came in!
Shortly after I managed to land a 2lb pollack so thankfully today, all was not lost!
I did however lose 1 rig, but also found the rig I lost yesterday, when the top half of my rod decided to take a dip.
It was a short session today, but not as short as yesterday’s and far more enjoyable!
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Thanks Gonzo! I will get him next time! Happy enough with the new rod, it’s the only one I have that has never let me down! :D
