Bait: ragworm
Tide: Flooding,
Time, 9pm till 12am
Result: 1 bass, 2 flatties, 1 eel
Arrived at the beach shortly after low water and it was relatively calm, plenty of weed around but it eased off later on. Was using a simple rig of a single size 1 hook flapper type thingy and decided to splash out and use a whole ragworm this time.
Anyways, couple of hours in and caught the bass, couldn’t believe the size of it when I eventually managed to get it up the beach.
I’m off the smokes 2 months but had to ask my pal for one of Johnny blues finest to calm me nerves
After that a couple of small dabs and a small eel followed and we called it a night.
