Recent wexfors trips

#1 Post by Thompst111 »

Anyone fish wexford recently, planning a trip for next week just do t know where to go. Usually do Morriscastle, but thinking of giving tinnabearna a go in the hope for tope but wouldn't say no to some smoothies either. Any info be great

Tried Tinnebearna about three weeks ago, I had a blank but i had no crab that day and i was trying for smoothies but i did see some guys catch some serious tope as it was getting dark and the tide was rising, Having said that i saw some guys fish all day for tope and blanked also. Seems to be a very shallow beach on low water

Went to courtown on sunday but it was too crowded so ended up in Ballyvalden as i figured it would be quiet, which it was. I couldnt get any peelers during the week so caught some hardbacks to try but unfortunetly i blanked. I caught a big spider crab which was mad. There was one other guy fishing until a family arrived and started swimming beside him !! I saw some small bass jumping practically where the waves crashed onto the shore. The tide wasnt in my favour. Really have to get some accurate tide tables as i thought i would be fishing a rising tide but instead the tide was falling.

Nice one man. Get app "tides near me". It has rosslare and courtown and I generally cut the difference between them ends up accurate enough
