Newcastle beach last Monday evening

Nice evening to be out with a big surf southerly wind had vanished into thin air .
Rigs =three hook flaps and pull dropper
Bait= rag lug crab squid Mac
Fishing was ok with one codling a few big whiting slugs and a few coalies
As hw approached the weed came on and I had to give up [emoji25]
I was testing a new multi tip Continental rod for Viking tackle unfortunately the weed and big sea ment I couldn't test the match tip
On the bright side I didn't snap it with 6oz and bait [emoji23]
PS bless me father for I have done a fishing report [emoji12]
