Mussels

Hi lads ,just recently collected a lot of mussels to experiment with bait as the back is fooked from digging lug[emoji37],just want to know best way for storing them ? How long will they last etc? What species are they good for?
Appreciate any advice [emoji6]

Put a layer of salt in an airtight tub, cover with mussels, another layer of salt and pop on the lid. Change the salt after a few days and they'll last a good while and be very easy to put on a hook.
