Shouldn't be long now. Sea temp in dun laoghaire 12.8 degrees. As far as I know 13 degrees is the magic number.
List 2010. fish

List 2011: less fish

2012: less fish again,

2013: even less fish.

Has the scarcity of Mackerel meant no "Shore Mackerel Reports" anymore :?: Or do I just need glasses :?:

Spent a few hours in Rush fishing for Macks today. Not a dicky bird  Glorious day though :D Not sure how Skerries is doing but think I'll have to head south of Howth to improve chances. Any good reports coming from Dún Laoghaire or Greystones :?: Tired of eating Lidl mackerel ---- Something to read while waiting, found some interesting articles dealing with the decline in mackerel numbers especially over last few years. http://www.anirishanglersworld.com/inde ... -mackerel/ ---- Very interesting
