has anyone fished this pier.if so can you give me any advice

Im not sure if it was the Pier or the Beach, But I was told there was a brave bit of Depth and a hell of a lot of Dogfishies... :?

I havent fished the pier myself but i have seen a few kids fishing off it when I passed by on a charter boat a few times.Think they were mackerel bashing.
