Shore Angling Near Arklow

#1 Post by ArklowAngler »

Hello, new to the forum. I will be in Arklow on holiday for the last two weeks in July and am looking forward to doing some shore fishing. In the past I have gone to Clogga Strand, Ennereily and the beach just south of Kilmichael point. Never had much brag about. Has anyone fished these marks lately and done any good?

The beach south of Kilmichael is a great beach for flats, whiting, rockling and other annoyances - you will need to travel about 40 mins from arklow to hit some very good bass and smotthie spots - pm me if you want some info, not sure if you plan to travel that far from base.

Thanks for the replies guys. Ste C are you talking about the South Beach between the quay and Roadstone Jetty?
