Goleen and Crookhaven
I will be holidaying in west cork (Golden) in early august and I hope to try some of the shore marks on the map on the SAI website. Any info on what baits work well down that neck of the woods, hoping to target bass. Any good bait suppliers in that area?

Re: Goleen and Crookhaven
I've been fishing down there for the past 10 years.
There is little in the way of bait available in the few local shops that sell tackle.
The shops in Clonakilty and Skibereen had frozen sandeels if I remember correctly but little else.
I usually stock-up on peeler at Halfway Angling Cenre, Balinhassig : https://www.tackledirectireland.ie
Lug, white rag, razor and clams can be found on some of the more sheltered beaches, you'll just have to explore and find them !

Clontackle in Clonakilty will have any bait you want. Great shop and Graham is full of knowledge for the area.
