Portmarnock and Malahide

Someone ever tryied in Portmarnock or Malahide?? what rules u use? what fish is in there? I m new in Ireland and i just want to try in there.:D sorry for my english is not the best.

It can be hard going around there, especially from the shore. Smoothhounds should be around now but the area has been dredged very heavily all winter so this may have an effect. In general Portmarnock beach seems to fish best in the winter months, mainly small whiting and flatfish.
If you put in the hours it will produce some fish but be prepared for blanks :cry:
