Lads anyone ever fish killrush to any success? ?
Any advice appreciated.

Havent fished Kilrush but My m8 and I fished Labasheeda in the shannon estruary few weeks back and we had 5 Thornbacks biggest 8lb, we had a 5lber, 3lber and few small ones, to give you an Idea, fished it on a spring tide.
2016 Species: Thornback ray, Bass,Dogfish, Pollock, Coalie, Whiting, Cod, Flounder, Smooth hound, Sea trout, shore tope, shore Anglerfish, Scad, Mackeral,Ballan Wrasse,Goldsinny Wrasse, Tompot Blenny,Goby,Pouting,Poor cod.

Prob a bit late with the reply, but Cappagh pier is just outside Kilrush..definatly worth a try on a flooding tide, you could catch pretty much anything. Popular spot with locals so can get busy when the fishing or weather is good
