My vote is ABC tackle off Capel st. Great prices and Allen (86) gives some of the best best advice you can get.
I saw this nice vid on YouTube about Allen - you won't get this online

Definitely have to give Colm in Wigeons Rest a nod for this one followed closely by John in WAAOC.

Re: what is your favourite tackle shop?
Can't fault Dan never let me down for anything I was looking for. Great shop full of gear. As Dan is on my way home for from digging lug and maddies I'm prone to call into him at strange hours. Never a moan always happy to open up.donwanavan wrote:Thers is one near The Halfway, between bandon and cork. Hes on line too. Cant think of the name but loads of good local advice if you call in

+1 For Halfway Angling and Dan Lynch, great selection of gear and a gentleman too. One winter evening I arrived just after he locked up and he happily opened up again- it was the difference between me being able to go cod fishing that weekend and not.
