Fishing around Cobh

#1 Post by Buddner »

Lads i'm heading down to Cobh with the family for a few days. Hopefully i'll get a few hours to try for a local Bass, can some one point me in the right direction, I'll be lure fishing. Obviously i don't expect your best secret marks but just a general area. All fish (if any) will be returned. Tks in advance.
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

Yep! A bit early alright.
You could try the mouth of the Ferry. Down through marlogue woods. Park at the Marina.

Cheers lads, i know its a bit early but between buggies bags and family  theres no room for the beach casters so the travel rod and lures will have to do. Cheers for the info.

Hi buddner,

Did you have any luck?

I was throwing lures around east ferry myself the other evening but without a sniff of action.
