Hi all
Haven't gone after cod for a few weeks, are they still showing in the usual Cork spots, or have they moved off?
I have the passport stamped for Sunday and am trying to figure out where to go.
Thanks

I fished the front strand 2weeks ago.when the tide was high 5m ,fished the drop for a few hours had 1 and a dog .had a quick sleep in the van as the tide dropped back a good 100m + fished the flood from 3am up to 9 had 2 plum cod 3p 12 and 3 p 8 tide was too bad to fish the estuary .the 3 cob had sprays in there mouths .carb and wraps cocktail did the damage .but as the previous post said just go as everything was against me high tides & wind

Re: Cod still about in Cork?
fished there a little over a week ago and blanked a couple of other anglers who were out that night also blanked, no one even got a bite.
I fished green park and by the side gate of the carpets pier and the front beach.
beach was a problem for weed.
I was expecting whiting at the very least , reeling in crabs all night.
