So I was in Arklow on business and notice the peir so said I would have a gander and check out the area.
Anyone any idea of the lie of the land? I dunno how many peirs are in arklow so I went to the one where I drove down by "Gains" and the dock area.
Whats the fishing off the peir like? which side is best, and whats the stretch of beach like. I might head out for a day there soon if it comes recommended.
Thanks
Arklow Peir

Re: Arklow Peir
not sure about the pier, but if you drive out of the town there is a beach about 5 minutes maybe not even that down the road that use to be good, i havent fished in a while but could still be good, can be easy to drive past too so dont drive too fast down the road!

Re: Arklow Peir
South beach in arklow is normally a good spot, it can throw up most species the river out near the harbour can be alive with flats too
just keep an eye on your car if possible as broken windows can occur
