Hi all ,

Iam looking at one of these rods anyone got one. I use a carp rod 2.5test at moment and i dont see much of a difference in these two rods look same.

Also is it worth buying a bass rod in northern ireland

Could be wrong, but is'nt the rockhopper a plugging/spinning rod (there may be a couple of types, but the one I am familar with is definitely aimed at plugging???)

i think there are 2 different versions, one more for spinning and the other designed for bait fishing into gullies etc for bass. meant to be an excellent rod for the money. if its a bass rod you are after pookie id recommend the greys bze 3-5 oz rod 12ft 6inch i think. itll do all the beach fishing you need plus a good sporting rod from the rocks for everything later in the summer its around £100 i think.see them pair of boys up glenoe direction!
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!
