Any suggestions for a reel to match up with Sakura Shinjin Neo 4 Piece Heavy Travel Lure Rod 7', rated 10-40g.

I have the 8' Neo (2 piece) and a 2000 - 3000 suits it best.
Go for a smaller 3000 or a bigger 2500... resist the temptation to go for a 4000 unless you intend hitting beasts.
in the mid-priced range...Daiwa Exceler 3000 ... Penn Battle 3000 ...
Sakura themselves do the Alpax. It is a black version of the Surecatch Unity 30. I love the unity's but they seem to be gone off the market!
