Bray Beach

#1 Post by Nic Mach »

I've been up to Bray seafront the past number of weeks and was curious about the beach up there, as I can't recall any reports or discussions about it on this forum. I was just wondering has anyone ever tried their luck up there, or is it even fishable?

Did catch two cracking bass there last year. Just wanted to use up bait, was down there at crazy o clock on a Sunday morning. Surf was trickling in. Two within ten minutes of each other.

I've seen decent size flats come off it. But it's not worth the hassle as it's full off Feking idiots. Who will pester you or want fight you. It's why I even avoid the pier now as last time I was there I had 8-10 , 14-16 year olds wanting to piss me off, and they wouldn't leave me alone for ages.

It's a good spot infront of the aquarium if there is a nice surf. I've had codling to 15 cm and whiting to 16cm not to mention bucket loads of dogs :-D
