Hi heading down to rossnowleagh next weekend, just wondered what the fishing like in this area, was thinking of chucking out on the beach. Any tips on bait, rigs, distance would be greatly appreciated

Well! In front of the hotel is good forflounder Turbo further to the right is trout all on bait, to the left is supposed yo be bass on lures undefeated the smugglers. Tightlines

it can be a bit hit or miss,but should pick up shortly with flounder and bass ,in front of the hotel is a favourite mark.with lug ,ragworm , crab,maddies, mackerel and sandeels good bait.

Fished it for the first time last Friday....was a match on...no big numbers of fish and I blanked!
sure, its not raining between the showers!
