Why? Anyone can still read whatever reports they like without being a member, can't they - there's no members-only boards? Or have I got this wrong?
I'm just hoping that a lot of people don't fish over the winter and that as soon as the weather warms up they'll get fishing again and start posting some reports....

Hello all, long time no posts. I only took up shore fishing last year. Just waiting for weather to pick up. I mean, thers no point in me going out there now to try and catch anything, I caught 2 pollock the size of me index finger in the whole of last summer
This year I intend on bring a bazokaa rocket launcher. Might catch more that way.

I think some of it has to do with people just not going out during winter alright. I also think people prefer not to reveal which marks are doing well.
Last summer the reports weren't exactly coming hard and fast, and it was noticed by a lot of us. Personally speaking, I noticed that some of my Howth and other site regulars 'special' spots were filling up every weekend, when previous they were our own little goldmines. I know we dont mind letting others know when and where the fishing is good, for the most part, but when you get your fair weather and disposable bbq people
ruining these spots, its disheartening.
To be honest, I consciously left out a few reports last summer. It was my way of trying to save or trying to reduce the public knowledge of 'my' spots. I know not everyone gets there info from here, but I'm sure a lot do. No, I dont like sharing!
Ah no, I never mind telling where a goos spot can be found, but like i said its disheartening when it seems to be abused.
