Should i just bite the bullet and get a pair of chest waders and boots? will i be very limited without them?

i would def get the chest waders - you may be fooled by the weather right now but the water is always a little colder
as you move in and out of the water there are big changes in temp - especially if there is a breeze with it

also if the ground isint even youll be protecting your legs from slips and knocks - you wont be focussing on the ground/cold and be able to put your mind on working the lure

I love wet wading wearing shorts and rugged sandals but I always have chest waders in the boot.
