How do lads . Finally back on the beach after a longish lay off. Got to try out the newer model of Aerlex (had the older one which I absolutely swore by as an excellent reel)
Have to say I'm disappointed to say the least , not as smooth as I expected on the retrieve and the bale arm is a prone to snapping back when casting leading to snap off's and the obligatory profanities that follow :evil:

Welcome back Gavin, ohh how things have changed! :-) Hope you're well.

Bring it back and replace with either an Ultegra 10000 @ 220ish or a Penn Affininty 7 or 8000, @ 120 ish.

Not bad mate , hope alls good with your goodself and family are all well.
All the fish have been taken in my absence then or is it the same site with a new bunch of tackle tarts?? :) lol
