Has anyone caught any shad yet in Saint Mullins and what stage of the tide is best

the run must have started by now - big tide this weekend anyways should bring them up

lads catching few specimen there at the moment
bass PB 10 lb , thornback ray PB 11lb, smooth hound PB 12lb, cod PB 9lb wish list for this year turbot painted ray undulate ray nd gilt head bream

Always thought shad were a river fish
Always CAR! unless its a pollock...!

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!

I'm putting the run down on my calander for next year, next years bucket list for sure
Species for 2016 : Flounder, Whiting, Dogfish, Conger Eel (4)
Species for 2015 : (16)
Species for 2014 : (31)

very poor run this year 3 days 1 fish .up to 20 caught by a few 20 hr a day die hards

yea it didnt seem like the run was as consistent as other years - put away the tazzie devils for another year
