anyone getting the hounds in poolbeg yet or is it a little too early

We tryed down the end and at half moon but all we got was pin whites.....

I heard there was a few landed over the last 2 weeks.

poolbeg is a pup fest you will get plenty of small hounds thats about it,wait till mid june and hit the wicklow/wexford beaches and try for a double

agree with ste wasting good baits for small fish
bass PB 10 lb , thornback ray PB 11lb, smooth hound PB 12lb, cod PB 9lb wish list for this year turbot painted ray undulate ray nd gilt head bream

poolbeg is just handy for me as i cycle down lads i dont drive but am going to try get me mate hooked this year with me so i can start going further for the big ones but the small ones will have to do for now i still enjoy once im getting something

I love poolbeg, and they are not all small....

Like everywhere there is big ones there and if you put the time in you will get one...

They are all small an thats a fact buddy if chasin 4 an 5lb hounds is your thing poolbeg is the place to be i only live up the road an good mates have fished the pier years aswell an will tell you the same
