I'll be visiting Clifden over the June bank holiday weekend with the misses and shes keen on learning to fly fish as well getting out on a lake for a few hours, maybe the full day if I really push my luck
What I have in mind is getting fly fishing lessons for both of us and maybe a few hours on a lake with a ghuillie..or lessons and possibly renting a boat for a full day including fly rods and gear, we have lifejackets and an electric motor if needed. Some gorgeous Connemara trout in a picturesque setting would be ideal, maybe even salmon if a day licence is handy to get, we are both experienced anglers and accustomed to boating lake and inshore.
What I'm wondering is can anyone recommend a venue which could cater for our fishing needs?
I know there's a wealth of info about trout fishing in Connemara so much in fact its boggeling my mind but some local or experienced advice would be greatly appreciated, pm's welcome also
